A New Voice Rises in the Set-Apart Music Scene with a Spirit-Led Sound
Set Apart artist Nabia J has officially released her debut EP, Yashab (The Dwelling Place)—a heartfelt, scripture-rich collection of worship songs focused on intimacy with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. The album is now available for streaming on YouTube Music and is in rotation on All Praises Radio, where it continues to minister to listeners across the globe.
The album was unveiled during a virtual release party hosted by Lorvins on March 21, 2025, and produced by Asaph. Viewers were given a behind-the-scenes look at Nabia’s creative and spiritual journey, along with real-time reflections on what each song meant to her personally.
“This project came from a place of separation, obedience, and restoration,” Nabia shared during the release party. “These aren’t just songs. They’re Scriptures. They’re testimonies. They’re declarations.”
The word “Yashab” means to sit, to remain, to dwell—a theme that runs throughout the entire EP. “Worship through music brings us to a place where we sit, remain, and dwell with the Most High Yahuah,” Nabia explains. “Deliverance takes place through worship as we remain in the dwelling place.”
Lorvins, who hosted the event, praised her authenticity:
“You’re not performing. You’re ministering. And that’s what makes this album different—it’s not about industry; it’s about obedience.”
The EP includes five tracks, each crafted with lyrical richness and a spirit of reverence:
-
Without You
-
Emunah (Faithfulness)
-
Your Name
-
Oh Yahuah
-
Royalty (Wake Up)
Throughout the evening, listeners heard powerful reflections like:
“I didn’t want this album to just be music. I wanted it to be a dwelling place—a space where people could come into stillness, away from the noise, and feel the presence of the Most High.”
“Even when I didn’t understand the assignment, Yahuah was working it all for my good.”
Chevon Jones aka Nabia J, based in Charlotte, NC, describes her mandate as “releasing a sound of worship that will permeate throughout the body of Yashar’el and worldwide.” Her music is designed to help listeners enter a sacred place of worship—where breakthrough, peace, and transformation can occur.
