The 22nd annual awards & gala, after two years virtually, will be held at the Black Ensemble Theater, 4450 North Clark, Chicago. The Black Excellence Awards is a lavish awards ceremony, preceded by a beautiful gala, that will honor outstanding artists and arts organizations in the categories of music, film, literature, theater, dance, visual arts, and digital media/technology produced by the African American Arts Alliance of Chicago.
